I hope this message finds you well and enjoying the final weeks of summer. As your OCMA President, I want to take a moment to thank everyone who attended our membership meeting held on July 29, and share key updates, as well as important information for the months ahead.
Membership and Financial Updates
2025 Membership Update: OCMA continues to grow in strength and numbers. Thank you for your ongoing support and participation.
2025 Financial Update: Our Treasurer, Bill Norsetter, provided a positive financial outlook for the year, supporting future initiatives and services.
PAC Update: Our Political Action Committee remains active in monitoring legislation and supporting causes that directly impact managers.
Association Updates
- Class & Compensation Update: OCMA continues to engage with County leadership to ensure fair and competitive compensation for managers.
- Grievance Updates: We are actively supporting the resolution of the ongoing OPC grievance.
- Member Survey: A 2025 OCMA Member Survey will be released soon—your feedback will help guide our efforts and focus heading into 2026 negotiations.
- 2026 Negotiations: Preparation has begun. Your input is essential as we shape our collective priorities.
New Website and Digital Tools
Our redesigned website and member portal will go live by the end of the week at www.OCManagers.com, including new features and easier access to:
- Legal representation
- Discount programs (including FunEx and Venmo payment services for tickets)
- Manager onboarding tools
- Regal movie tickets

- Professional counseling and support for members and their families
- Lunch & Learn Workshops
- OCMA Social Media launch
Dues Adjustment
The OCMA Executive Board has approved a dues increase of $4.00, raising total dues to $19.00 per pay period, effective September 5, 2025. This increase supports expanded services and strengthens our position heading into 2026 negotiations.
Important Dates
- OCMA Angels Game: Saturday, August 23, 2025 – A great time to connect with colleagues and families!
- Holiday Party: Thursday, December 4, 2025, at the Santa Ana Elks Club (Dinner at 5:30PM, Drawing at 7:00PM)
- Board Elections: November 2025 – Three seats will be open (Bill Norsetter, Helen Hernandez, Jennifer Fiore). More details to come.
- Open Enrollment for Supplemental Benefits: Begins November 2025 – via our new Pacific Group Agencies online portal.
