Dear Members of the Orange County Managers Association,
I hope you are all doing well. We have several important updates to share with you regarding staffing, office accessibility, upcoming events, and the start of our 2026 contract negotiations. Thank you for your continued support and engagement—your involvement is what strengthens our association and helps us advocate effectively on your behalf.
New Executive Assistant – Norvie Meaney!
OCMA would like to welcome Norvie Meaney who recently joined us as our new Executive Assistant. Norvie retired from the County in February after 24 years of service as a Secretary III for the Orange County Probation Department. She will become a familiar face to all as she will be running our office operations in Santa Ana.
Expanded Office Hours/ Member Services
OCMAs offices in Santa Ana are now open every Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:00AM – 2:00PM. In addition, the office will be open by appointment only on Monday and Thursday and will be closed on Friday. OCMAs email (contact@ocmanagers.com) is monitored 7 days a week and OCMA Executive Director Stacey McCoy can also be reached after hours when needed. While the office may only be open for on-site services a few days a week, OCMA has made a commitment to be available to our members when needed, so do not hesitate to reach out.
OCMA Health and Wellness Fair – Thursday, April 30, 2026
Join OCMA for our first Health and Wellness Fair for OCMA Members! The event will be held on April 30, 3026 at the County Conference Center at CAS from 10:00AM – 2:00PM. Additional details will be sent out later this month!
2026 Negotiations
In April, OCMA will begin negotiations for our new contract. The OCMA Board has been busy reviewing all of the suggestions sent to the Board in our surveys in 2023 and 2025 and are working hard to meet the needs of our diverse group of members. We anticipate this year’s negotiation process to be a difficult one and we thank our members for being patient during this process. As a reminder, once OCMA begins negotiations, we cannot share specifics to our members and can only provide general updates. We know this can be frustrating, but please understand that this is just part of the process.
Angels Vs Dodgers Game May 15, 2026
OCMA sold nearly 200 tickets to the upcoming Angels Vs Dodgers Game on May 15th at Angels Stadium. Our group is split between Angels and Dodgers Fans, so it should be a good game. For those of you attending, look for some OCMA swag on your seat when you get to the game.
Thank you once again for your dedication to the Orange County Managers Association.
