With over 28 years of dedicated service to the County of Orange, I deeply believe in the vital work we do for our community and the people who make that work possible. I began my County career in 1997 with the Public Defender’s Office as an Attorney Clerk, and later had the opportunity to serve in a payroll role within the department. I then transferred to CEO/HR, where I have continued to grow professionally while supporting County operations and employee services. I currently serve as an Assistant Recruitment Manager on the Satellite HR Team supporting the Health Care Agency, helping recruit, hire, and retain a strong workforce to serve Orange County residents.

Prior to my promotion into management, I was an active member of OCEA and served on the Board of Directors, chaired the Health and Welfare Trust, and participated on multiple negotiating teams and Political Action Committees. I also served as a Delegate for the Orange County Labor Federation, advocating in Sacramento for legislation benefiting working people and their families. Outside of work, my husband and I have proudly raised our children; our daughter is an artist and graphic designer, and our son is a recent graduate of Morehouse College. I am also currently finishing my undergraduate program in Public Administration, continuing my commitment to learning, leadership, and public service.

I remain committed to advocating for OCMA members through fairness, transparency, and the protection of member rights and benefits. I value the role unions play in strengthening our contracts, ensuring no takeaways, and promoting a culture of respect and professional excellence.

I proudly served the County of Orange for over 29 years with the Orange County Probation Department prior to my retirement from County service in February 2025.  My last assignment with the department was as a Division Director/ Criminal Justice Deputy Director assigned to the department’s Special Supervision Division. I spent the last 20 years of my career with the Probation Department in Management and as a Member of OCMA.  In addition, I served three years on the OCMA Board of Directors as President prior to my retirement.  Throughout my career I worked many collaborative assignments with various departments within the County including the District Attorney’s Office, Sheriff’s Department, Public and Alternative Defender’s Office, Social Services, Health Care Agency and Orange County Public Works.  In addition to my work with Probation, I also helped start a non-profit for the Probation Department’s Baker to Vegas Running Team.  During my volunteer work with Baker to Vegas I designed the departments first Pink Patch as part of the Pink Patch Program to raise funds for Breast Cancer Awareness and established a sunshine fund to help staff in need.

My desire to help others led me to accepting the role of Executive Director for OCMA in 2025. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.  My experience with the County has shown me that our managers are often not provided the support and resources they need to be successful in the office and at home. My goal is to advocate for our managers so that they the tools and resources needed to achieve their personal and professional goals while protecting their rights as employees.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time tending to my backyard farm which is home to chickens and over 10 varieties of fruit trees.  I have been married to my husband for over 24 years and we own a small business inside Knotts Berry Farm.  We spend our weekends showcasing our classic cars, with my favorite being my 1970 Cuda in Moulin Rouge.

I have served on the Orange County Managers Association (OCMA) Board since 2025. I’ve worked for the Orange County Probation Department for 23 years and in a management role for the past two and a half years. Currently I am the Assistant Division Director of Special Supervision overseeing units involving domestic violence, sex offenders, gangs, K-9’s, Dispatch, GPS monitoring, and High Control. I am also a Peer Support member and a member of the Honor Guard for the Probation Department.

I am committed to the work I do that requires strong communication, critical thinking, empathy, and organization skills. These skills are crucial in building rapport and supporting individuals, which has helped solidify my passion for this career. Outside of work, I am a busy mom and wife of a business owner. I enjoy spending my free time at the lake, beach, or any body of water. I plan my life around my busy athletic fearless children who race dirt bikes, jump horses, or compete in college stunt.

As an OCMA Board member, I will extend that same commitment to the managers of this County advocating as an ambassador to seek improving employee benefits.

I began my professional career with a decade at the American Red Cross, followed by 15 years of experience as a management consultant while I managed projects that audited City and County departments (Finance, Public Works, Social Services, Animal Control, Healthcare including hospitals and public health clinics, Clerk of Records, Safety, Risk Management, Parking, Building & Safety, Code Enforcement, and Human Resources) and have gained experience supervising a wide variety of professional, licensed, IT, management, marketing, clerical, construction, and line staff. For the last 20 years I have worked at the Orange County Health Care Agency, and currently supervise the Procurement and Contract Services team that creates and manages all human service contracts that focus on Public Health, Correctional Health, Health Disaster Management, Emergency Medical Services, and the Medical Safety Net programs. In my spare time I enjoy gardening, home improvement projects, rowing, and time with my family, especially our 4 granddaughters.

I have served on the Orange County Managers Association (OCMA) Board since 2025. I’ve worked for the County of Orange in a management role since 2017. Currently, as the Stakeholder Communications Manager for OC Information Technology (OCIT), I oversee strategic messaging, legislative affairs, and technology communications for our county customers.

Outside of work, I’m a law student, domestic violence advocate, and a mom and stepmom navigating the realities of blended family life. I enjoy reading, camping, and spending time outdoors with my family. In my spare time, you can find me baking sourdough, raising chickens on our urban homestead, volunteering in the community or cheering from the sidelines at my kids’ baseball and football games. I’m passionate about creating resources that empower survivors and support meaningful systemic reform.

As a member of the OCMA Board, I’m committed to advocating for fair and equitable policies that support the needs of County managers and ensure our voices are heard in decisions that impact our workplaces and careers.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in human services and bring over 24 years of dedicated service to the County of Orange. I have contributed to several departments throughout my career, with the past 20 years focused in Procurement. Currently, I serve as the Strategic Program Manager at the County Procurement Office, where I lead the County’s Supplier Engagement Program.

I have proudly served on the Orange County Managers Association (OCMA) Board of Directors since 2017 and currently hold the position of President. With a strong commitment to advocating for fair representation and meaningful workplace improvements, I have been instrumental in two successful rounds of negotiations that led to updates to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and critical salary adjustments for members.
I also actively contributed to the countywide classification and compensation study, helping ensure that employee roles and responsibilities are recognized and compensated appropriately. I bring to my work a deep understanding of member concerns, a collaborative leadership style, and a focus on long-term improvements to workplace equity and standards. Dedicated and proactive, I continue to be a strong voice for OCMA members, working to promote transparency, fairness, and progress for all represented employees.

I have proudly served on the Orange County Managers Association (OCMA) Board since 2022 and have been a dedicated employee of the County of Orange since 1997. With over 27 years of experience in the criminal justice field and having worked in management since 2020, I bring a unique combination of frontline law enforcement and executive leadership to my current role as Assistant Chief Deputy Coroner for the Orange County Sheriff-Coroner Department. In this position, I oversee the Coroner Division’s Records Unit, Forensic Operations, and Training Unit.

My previous roles include Manager of Investigations, Supervising Deputy Coroner, Senior Investigator, and Sheriff’s Special Officer. I also serve as the Director of the California Coroner Training Center, where I coordinate statewide training to Coroner/Medical Examiner Investigators and law enforcement professionals. Additionally, I am an active member of both the California State Coroners Association and the International Coroners Association.

I hold a Master of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in Human Development, and an Occupational Certificate in Criminal Justice. I also have nearly a decade of experience as a High School adjunct Criminal Justice Instructor. Outside of work, I am a devoted husband and a proud father of three. As a longtime resident of Orange County, I am deeply committed to advocating for OCMA members, focusing on improved working conditions, enhanced benefits, and protecting retirement security for all.
